In an interesting clash of technological brilliance, the Apple iPad 2 release date is expected to bump foreheads with BlackBerry for its PlayBook release. Though the target audience might be the same, these two gadgets are clearly meant for different purposes. If sources are to be believed the two gadgets will release within days of each other making it a head on competition for both companies.
Scheduled for release around April/May next year, both products will definitely notice reduced sales considering the head to head competition. Officially, neither company has come out with the official release dates for the products, but going by their company trends, there is no doubt that the Apple iPad release date and the BlackBerry PlayBook release date will definitely be by mid next year.
Apple’s iPad and BlackBerry PlayBook are two gadgets that tech geeks have been looking forward to for quite some time, and knowledgeable sources say that the iPad 2 has the same camera provided as for the iPhone 4. As the Apple iPad 2 release date comes closer, more and more features will be revealed, but as of now it seems that the iPad 2 will have a retine display and a USB port.
